The Full Armour of God

Lent 2014 - This term in our morning services we have been looking at Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. In chapter 6 Paul encourages us to put on the whole armour of God. This is a vivid image and reminds us that we are in a spiritual battle against our own weaknesses, against pressure from the world around and particularly against the Devil. In these wonderful verses we are told how to stand firm in Christ.

1. Know your enemy

2. Stand

3. Belt, breastplate, caligae

4. Shield, helmet, sword

5. All prayer
